  1. Thank you for taking the time to download PhoneBar 2.1.  You should find the following files in the zip:

  7. In order to install this program, you will need to copy these files to a directory.
  8. PhoneBar 2.1 does not support the *.### files from the previous versions of PhoneBar-- you will
  9. need to reenter your data.

  11. The source code for PhoneBar is available for Visual C++ to registered users for $15.00.  Remember that this code is copyright ⌐1994 Will Ballard.

  13. PhoneBar is a handy supplement to you PIM, or a stand alone phone directory.  It supports printing phonebook lists as well as a multiple filed sort.  Consult the help file for more information.

  15. PhoneBar is shareware and you have thirty days to try it after which you should register or discontinue use.  The registration fee is $10.00.  Consult the help file for the order form.  Registered users will receive a shareware sampler via mail of my current programming projects.

  19. 2.1-- Incorporates printing functionality and support for user defined files.  Previous versions         automatically handled saving and reading.  This way you can have more than one             PhoneBar file.

  21. 2.0-- Supports a new user interface with toolbar for the first time.  Sorting functionality is installed     allowing you to reorder your entries.  The data is separated into four fields instead of being     displayed in a single line.

  23. 1.0-- The original is a list box interface with a few buttons allowing you to take care of you entries.      The sorting function is automatic, as well as all file functions.
